Cappog Construction is a wholly Irish owned company based in Co. Monaghan. The company was formally established in 2002. The original founder, John Murphy, began his career as a buliding craftsman in the 1980s and has worked on large and small scale projects in both Ireland and the UK for almost 20 years. The firm has steadily bulit a reputation for building quality and excellence in construction. The firm prides itself on strongly adhering to the highest building standards that the construction industry has to offer and for paying particular attention to the needs and requests of our customers.
One of the companies main areas of specialisation is in the construction of environmentally-friendly timberframe homes. Timberframe homes are ecologically-friendly, quicker to bulid, more energy and sound efficient than masonry homes as well as being more thermally efficent. As a measure of the strength of the company in this regard, Cappog Construction has held responsibility for the contruction of the timberframe showhouse at the Irish Ideal Homes Exhibition for the past eight years. This is something the company is extremely proud of and it serves to cement the companies reputation as one of the leading timberframe construction specialists in Ireland.
